The proposed wind farm site extends over approximately 13,500 hectares of land predominantly used for grazing and cropping. The project will be able to effectively co-exist with the existing agricultural use of the land. The site has been selected as it is ideal for a renewable energy development for the following reasons: 

• Environmental impacts are relatively low because the site is predominantly cleared with minimal tree and shrub coverage; 

• Topography and terrain that meet our requirements; 

• accepting community familiar with wind farm projects.
